make sure that you have completed the digital
connections and that INPUT MODE is not set to
“ANALOG” (page 85) or “A. DIRECT” is not

Lights up when the receiver tunes to a radio
station, or a satellite radio station.
RDS (Europe and Australia models only)
Tuned to a station with RDS services.
CAT (USA and Canada models only)
The category mode is selected during the
satellite radio operation.
MEM
Memory function, such as Preset Memory
(page 56), etc., is activated.
SIRIUS (USA and Canada models only)
The SiriusConnect Home tuner is connected and
“SR” is selected.
ST
Stereo broadcast
P EQ
Lights up when the equalizer is activated.
Q D.RANGE
Lights up when dynamic range compression is
activated (page 94).
R A.P.M.
Lights up when the A.P.M. (Automatic Phase
Matching) function is activated.
You can only set the A.P.M. (Automatic Phase
Matching) function in the DCAC (Digital
Cinema Auto Calibration) function (page 38).
S Dolby Pro Logic indicator
Lights up the respective indicator when the
receiver performs Dolby Pro Logic processing.
This matrix surround decoding technology can
enhance input signals.

Lights up when the disc being played back

U Playback channel indicators
The letters (L, C, R, etc.) indicate the channels
being played back. Based on the speaker
settings, the box around the letter(s) vary to
show how the receiver downmixes the source
sound.
