Network Settings menu

You can make the settings for the network. The
Network Settings menu is available only when
the Home Network or Music Services function
is selected.

x Settings

Lets you make the network settings.

To configure network settings
automatically

You can configure network settings
automatically. For details, see “Configuring
the network settings of the receiver” (page 43).

To set the IP address manually

Select “Settings”, then press

.

Select “Manual”, then press

.

The IP address input display appears on the
TV screen.

Press SHIFT, then press numeric
button to enter the value for
“IP Address”.

Press .

Repeat steps 3 to 4 to enter the value
for “Subnet Mask”, “Default Gateway”,
“Primary DNS” and “Secondary DNS”.
The proxy settings display appears on the
TV screen.

Select “Do Not Use”, then press

The confirmation display appears on the
TV screen.

Select “OK”, then press

To set the Proxy server
manually

Select “Use” in step 6 in “To set the IP
address manually” (page 99) or

in “Configuring the network settings of

button to enter the value for “Proxy
Address”.

You can check the network information for the
network.

To check the network
information

Select “Information”, then press

Select the setting item you want to
check, then press

The current setting information appears on
the TV screen.
You can check the settings* for
“Connection”, “IP Settings”, “IP Address”,
“Subnet Mask”, “Default Gateway”, “DNS
Settings”, “Primary DNS”, “Secondary
DNS”, “Proxy Settings”, “Proxy Address”,
“Port Number” and “MAC Address”.

* The setting items during setup differ depending

on the network environment.
