Setting the clock

The clock can be set either automatically by
connecting the unit to the Internet, or manually.

Setting the clock via an
Internet connection

You can set the clock by connecting the unit to the
NTP (Network Time Protocol) server on the
Internet. Before using this function, make sure the
network settings have already been made properly.

Press HOME on the unit.

The HOME screen appears.

Tap “

Settings.”

Tap “Common Settings.”

Tap “Clock Settings.”

Tap “Date&Time Settings.”

Tap “NTP Settings,” then tap

If you want to set the clock manually, see “To

Tap the text box that is below
“NTP Server Name:.”

Enter the name or IP address of
the NTP Server.

For details on entering text during the setup,
see “Entering text” (page 19).

Tip

The unit connects to the default server when you tap
“OK” without changing the server name.

Tap the text box that is below
“Time Zone:.”

Tap the desired time zone.

Tip

If the desired city does not appear in the “Time
Zone:,” select a city that is within the same time
zone as the desired city.

A list of available time zones

The following items appear in step 10. Select the
city where the unit is being used.

GMT+13 Nukualofa
GMT+12 Auckland
GMT+11 Noumea
