Requests and tips
• When using the MotionSD STUDIO, the personal
computer may become unstable or the MotionSD
STUDIO may aborts.
Although depending on the usage of the personal
computer, video editing requires a great deal of a
personal computer’s CPU capacity and so the personal
computer may become unstable. It is recommended to
frequently save edited data.
• If frame recording system videos are imported and then
rendered after adding video effects or transition effects,
they will appear as field images with the same image
quality as field videos.
• During outputting (recording), the bottom of the video
displayed in the output device screen (e.g. video of a
LCD monitor or of a TV set) may be distorted, or
oscillate up and down. But this is not a malfunction. This
does not affect recorded images.
• When using MotionSD STUDIO, use the AC adaptor as
the power source for the notebook computer and the AC
adaptor and battery as the power sources for the SD
Video Camera. Otherwise, it may not be possible to
record or capture the images properly. Furthermore, the
performance of the CPU may be limited depending on
the settings on the personal computer. (In this case,
frame drop becomes liable to occur.)
• Do not turn off the SD Video Camera when you are
using MotionSD STUDIO.
If you turn it off, MotionSD STUDIO may become
inoperable.
• Do not disconnect the cable when you are using
MotionSD STUDIO (while you transfer the data etc.).
MotionSD STUDIO may not work properly or the data
being transferred may be damaged.
• Do not connect 3 or more SD Video Cameras. The
connection of 3 or more units is not supported.
• WAV (uncompressed) files cannot be used for audio mix
editing, depending on their file formats (e.g., 4-bit WAV
files).
• Although sound is sometimes interrupted in the preview
of Audio Mix, it is not a malfunction.
• If you operate any window other than the MotionSD
STUDIO window such as the taskbar when using
MotionSD STUDIO, the previewed image comes not to
be displayed in some cases.
• If you use an external monitor with the personal
computer equipped with the dual display mode, the
Preview screen may not be displayed.
• After installing MotionSD STUDIO, the personal
computer, personal computer peripherals and other
applications may become unstable. If this happens,
uninstall MotionSD STUDIO. If other video editing
software is already installed, we recommend uninstalling
it and then installing MotionSD STUDIO.
