RS-232 Control of the ProductionVIEW Super Joystick

Key Feature:

The ProductionVIEW Super Joystick has six (6) discrete camera control ports which

eliminates the need for daisy-chaining control cabling. With all the ProductionVIEW consoles, all cabling
configurations are home-run type or “star” wiring configurations. Each Channel will auto-configure the
input channel for video signal and control for the camera attached.

Key Feature:

The ProductionVIEW Super Joystick can also be controlled by an external control system

such as Crestron® or AMX®. This flexibility allows for a system to be designed for multiple uses and
applications where joystick control of the cameras may only be needed on occasion.

Vaddio uses very simple control protocols to accomplish custom programming with the ProductionVIEW
consoles. The Communication Specification, API and Programming Language are listed below and
definitions are listed on the next page thereafter.
