Replacing the power supply assembly

This section provides instructions on how to replace the power supply assembly.
To replace the power supply assembly:
1. Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 11.
2. Lay the computer on its side.
3. Locate the power supply assembly. See “Locating components” on page 7.
4. Disconnect the power supply cables

cards, and all drives.

5. Remove the power supply cables from any cable clips and ties.
