Step 8. Line up the new TV tuner card then secure it to the bracket with the 2 screws.
Step 9. Connect the new antenna cable to the rear I/O bracket and secure it with 2 screws.
Step 10. Reattach the rear I/O module, EMI cover, back deco, the computer cover and computer stand.
Replacing the TV tuner card bracket
Note: Turn off the computer and wait 3 to 5 minutes to let it cool down before removing the cover.
Note: It may be helpful to place the computer face-down on a soft flat surface for this procedure. Lenovo
recommends that you use a blanket, towel, or other soft cloth to protect the computer screen from scratches
or other damage.
To replace the TV tuner card bracket:
Step 1. Remove the computer cover. Refer to “Removing the computer cover”.
Step 2. Remove the back deco. Refer to “Removing the back deco”.
Step 3. Remove the computer stand. Refer to “Removing the computer stand”.
Step 4. Remove the EMI cover. Refer to “Removing the EMI cover”.
Step 5. Remove the rear I/O module. Refer to “Replacing the rear I/O module”.
Step 6. Remove the TV tuner card. Refer to “Replacing TV tuner card”.
Step 7. Remove the 2 screws that secures the TV tuner card bracket to the chassis.
Step 8. Lift and slide up the TV tuner card bracket.
