To replace the power supply:

Step 1.

Remove the computer cover. Refer to “Removing the computer cover”.

Step 2.

Remove the back deco. Refer to “Removing the back deco”.

Step 3.

Remove the computer stand. Refer to “Removing the computer stand”.

Step 4.

Remove the EMI cover. Refer to “Removing the EMI cover”.

Step 5.

Remove the 2 screws that secure the power supply connector to the metal bracket

then remove

the 4 screws that secure the power supply to the chassis.

Step 6.

Disconnect the 2 power cables from the motherboard.

Step 7.

Remove the power supply by lifting it up.

Step 8.

Line up the new power supply, secure it to the motherboard using the 6 screws, then reconnect the
power cables to the motherboard.

Step 9.

Secure the new power supply connector to the metal bracket.

Step 10. Reattach the EMI cover, back deco, the computer cover and computer stand.

Replacing the touch module

Note: Turn off the computer and wait 3 to 5 minutes to let it cool down before removing the cover.

Note: It may be helpful to place the computer face-down on a soft flat surface for this procedure. Lenovo
recommends that you use a blanket, towel, or other soft cloth to protect the computer screen from scratches
or other damage.

To replace the touch module:

Step 1.

Remove the computer cover. Refer to “Removing the computer cover”.

Step 2.

Remove the back deco. Refer to “Removing the back deco”

Step 3.

Remove the computer stand. Refer to “Removing the computer stand”.

Step 4.

Remove the EMI cover. Refer to “Removing the EMI cover”.

Step 5.

Remove the system fan. Refer to “Replacing the system fan “.

Step 6.

Remove the heatsink. Refer to “Replacing the heatsink”.

Step 7.

Remove the 2 screws that secure the touch module to the chassis.
