Placing the document on the original glass
For ordinary documents or documents that cannot be loaded into the docu-
ment feeder, position them as described below.

Lift open the document feeder.

Position the document
so that the side to be
copied faces down.
– Align the document
with the document
scales at the top and
at the left side of the
original glass.

Carefully close the document feeder.
