5.5 Sets the initial value for the scan setting items
Initial value for image quality (resolution), file format, compression coding method, and color setting can be
changed for making transmission using Scan to E-mail, and Scan to Server.
5.5.1 Setting of image quality (resolution)

Press the Utility key.

Press +, to select [SCAN SETTING], then press OK.

Press +, to select [RESOLUTION], then press OK.

Press +, to select resolution.
% Resolution can be selected for [150 e 150 dpi], [300 e 300 dpi], [600 e 600 dpi].

Press OK.
The screen returns to the Scan Settings screen.
5.5.2 Setting file format

Press the Utility key.

Press +, to select [SCAN SETTING], then press OK.

Press +, to select [IMAGE FORMAT], then press OK.

Press +,, then select file format.
% The file format can be selected from [TIFF], [PDF], or [JPEG].

Press OK.
The screen returns to the Scan Settings screen.
5.5.3 Setting compression coding method
This item is displayed only when [BW] is selected for the color setting.

Press +, to select [BW CODING METHOD], then press OK.

Press +,, then select compression coding method.
% Compression coding method can be selected from [MH], [MR], or [MMR].
