Trouble with Application Software

If any trouble occurs in the application software, check the following:

Are the hardware requirements of the server appropriate for the soft-
ware?

Refer to the software operating manual

Is the software a certified copy? Illegally copied software may not oper-
ate.

Refer to the software operating manual

Was the software loaded from the floppy disk or the CD-ROM? If so,
does the software operate properly with other systems?

™

If the software has been loaded from the magnetic disk unit, check that
the software is installed properly. Was the entire necessary procedure
executed and were all necessary files installed?

™

Is the correct device controller installed?

™

Is the software set up correctly?

™

Is the software used correctly?

If the trouble cannot be solved, contact the customer service section of the soft-
ware manufacturer.
