Using the Remote Controller, Front operation panel and QosmioPlayer

Front operation panel function

This section describes the functions of the front operation panel for both

Windows mode and QosmioPlayer mode.
You have two options for the Indicator lighting method, “Always On” and

“Always Off.”
In the always on mode, the indicator will ordinarily be lit, however, when the

panel is touched, the indicator will go out. In the always off mode, the

indicator will ordinarily be out, however, when the panel is touched, the

indicator will go on. When the button is pushed, a short beep will be

emitted. For details on changing the indicator lighting settings, please refer

to Chapter 7,

Windows mode

Eleven buttons are available for use:
TV, CD/DVD, Play/Pause, Stop, Previous, Next, Record, Brightness up,

Brightness down, Display, TV-out.
These buttons allow you to navigate audio/video operations, run

applications and access utilities.

Front operation panel

Numbers

Allows you to select a channel or chapter

number while watching TV, or CD/DVD replay.
Numbers can be entered.
To select a channel or chapter number of two or

more digits, press the buttons sequentially.

For example, press the “1” button and then the

“0” button to select the number 10.

Clear

Deletes entered numbers.

Enter

The OK button on the Remote Controller has the

same functions.

If you operate the panel section while wearing magnetized bracelets,

and the like, there is the possibility of experiencing operational errors.

Please do not press the panel section too strenuously.
