WARNING
Read and understand all instructions, warnings,
cautions, and notes in this sheet and in your owners
manual before you begin the installation kit.
1 Winch Mounting Plate #87022
A. Before Installation
1. Read all warnings and instructions completely and
carefully before you begin.
2. Check to make sure the kit is complete (refer to the
Parts List at the end of this document).
3. Only install this kit on the vehicle for which it is
intended. If anytime during the installation you
encounter something different from what is outlined
in the instructions, call technical support at (928)
636-7080.
B. Get ready to install kit
1. Prepare the light bracket for installation.
a. Position kit Winch Mounting Plate centered on
topside of bumper. Be sure to use a streight
edge or fairlead on kit Winch Mounting Plate
allowing the fairlead to mount flush against the
front face of the bumper.
b. Using the kit Winch Mounting Plate as your
template, mark the four outside ears for drilling.
Use 1/2” drill bit & drill your marked holes.
c. Once kit Winch Mounting Plate is in position
and fairlead is flush with face of bumper; Mark
the four inside holes for your winch using the kit
Winch Mounting Plate as a template.
d. Check the size of your winch mounting
hardware(provided with your winch) and use
appropriate size drill bit to drill your inside holes.
e. Install kit Winch Mounting Plate using provided
kit 1/2” hardware. Center and tighten all kit
bolts.
f. Set your winch on top of kit Winch Mounting
Plate and use your provided winch mounting
hardware to mount your winch. (NOTE: It maybe
neccessary to purchase longer hardware for
your winch to mount properly through the kit
Winch Mounting Plate and bumper.)
