For Unplanned or Breaking News Events
In addition to planned events, some sporting events fall
into the category of unplanned or breaking news events.
For example, a specific player might unexpectedly break a
world record, suddenly rise in popularity amongst fans, or
transfer teams.
When these unexpected events take place:
• Create content specifically around these events so that
you can take advantage of audience interest.
• If you’re unable to cover the event directly, produce
videos featuring interviews and general reactions, with
appropriate consent.
• Take advantage of the popularity of a trending video,
if it makes sense to do so.
