2.8. Switches

Set the binary switch actions in this MENU section. You can create a table of

actions for each binary switch and specify for each switch which actions should be
executed upon its status change. You can set general switch actions for the whole
PBX or a group (1, 2) too.

2.8.1. Switch Settings

The table above shows all the switches installed in the PBX.

Type

– define the switch as a Binary input, or Relay contact.

State

– select OFF/ON for the Relay mode. The required Relay change will

occur when the configuration is stored in the PBX. With Binary, this field is
non-editable.

Group

– select whether or not the Binary input actions should affect a

selected group (DAY/NIGHT switching option). If no group is selected, the
subsequent actions are governed by the ON/OFF states independently on
the DAY/NIGHT mode.

ON-state

– the assigned action table is executed if the binary input transits

from the so-called logical 1, or the contact ON-state (e.g. motion sensor at
rest), into the so-called logical 0, or the contact OFF-state (e.g. motion
sensor activation).

OFF-state

– the assigned action table is executed if the binary input

changes from the so-called logical 0, or the contact OFF-state (e.g. motion
sensor active) into the so-called logical 1, or the contact ON-state (e.g.
motion sensor idle).

Day/Night

– applies to selected groups 1 or 2.

To assign a table, select one of the created ones, or create a new one. Use the
New command to open the action table defining dialogue.
