2.1 Getting Ready
Obtaining Information from a VoIP Service Provider
After choosing a VoIP service provider, users will require specific account information to populate the
following X-Lite settings:
• User name
• Password
• Authorization Name
• Domain
• Proxy address and port*
• STUN server address and port*
• XTunnels server address and port*
* value not used by all VoIP service providers

X-Lite requires users to have both speakers and a microphone for placing and accepting calls. Any of the
following configurations are acceptable:
• External speakers and microphone
• Built-in speakers and microphone
• Dual-jack multimedia headset
• Bluetooth
