Seeder Attachment to Seeder
Hitch

CAUTION

WARNING

1.

Lower the Seeder Hitch so that the lift arms are
parallel to the ground (See Figure 3-1.)

2.

Attach the lift arms of the seeder hitch to the seeder
unit using 1-1/8 x 5-3/4 clevis pin, klik pin, and 1/4 x 2
roll pin.

3.

Raise and/or tilt the seeder unit to allow the top link
to be secured between the seeder three-point and
the seeder hitch.

4.

Attach the top link to the seeder hitch using 1 x 5-1/8
pin, 1” flat washers, and 1/4 x 1-1/4 lynch pins.

5.

Attach the other end of the top link to the three point
hitch using 1 x 4-1/2 clevis pin and klik pins.

Seeder Removal from Seeder
Hitch

CAUTION

WARNING

1.

Remove seeder unit from the seeder hitch reversing
the order described in “Seeder Attachment to
Seeder Hitch” on page 3-3.

Secure the Seeder Hitch to a tractor and unfold
the wings of the hitch when attaching seeder
unit(s). This will provide stability and ease
attachment of the seeder unit(s).

Do not attempt to lift heavy parts (such as the
frame, seeder units, etc.) manually. Use a hoist or
a fork lift to move these parts into position.

Secure the Seeder Hitch to a tractor and unfold
the wings of the hitch when removing seeder
unit(s). This will provide stability and ease
attachment of the seeder unit(s).

Do not attempt to lift heavy parts (such as the
frame, seeder units, etc.) manually. Use a hoist or
a fork lift to move these parts into position.
