Operation
Operation of Seeder
This chapter will cover the basic operation and
procedures for the Landoll Brillion Alfalfa Seeder. Be sure
to read and understand the Safety Procedures and
Cautions starting on page 1-2.
Seeder Transport Lock (Pull Type Only)
For field operation:
Disengage each transport lock and replace the pin. The
lock rests on the wheel arm; the pin is in front of lock. See
Figure 3-1.
IMPORTANT
If the pin is not installed, the transport lock may
bounce up and cause significant damage to the
cylinder and fittings.

To prepare the machine for transport:
Raise the machine fully and pin the transport lock in
place on each lift cylinder. See Figure 3-2.

Hitch Adjustment
Adjust the hitch so when hooked to the tractor it is as
parallel as possible with the top of the seedbox. See
Figure 3-3.
