A4.0 SYSTEM INTRODUCTIOIN
This introduction provides a brief overview of the supplied equipment. It is not
intended as a substitute for formal training. MTS strongly recommends formal
classroom training at the MTS facility in hardware and software operation and
maintenance.
Item Description Performed
On Site
A4.1 System components:
- System startup and shutdown.
- Emergency and safety features: Emergency Stop,
crosshead limits, test area enclosure, and location of
circuit breakers/fuses.
- Connecting transducer, which includes methods of
safe handling, selecting capacity for proper
application, and calibrating.
- Login into testing software.
A4.2 Using testing software:
- Accessing and using the Help System.
- Setting up user login names and managing the data.
- Configuring the user interface such as the
appearance of meters, graphs, and sash positions.
- Setting up additional transducers within the testing
software.
