4.1.0 Install MTS TestSuite Multipurpose Software
To install the MTS TestSuite Multipurpose software:
1. Launch the MTS TestSuite self-extracting executable.
2. On the MTS TestSuite Multipurpose Software Install window, click FlexTest.
3. Select option 1) TestSuite Software Installation. Follow the instructions in the InstallShield Wizard and
restart your computer if prompted. For additional information, refer to the ReadMe file and the MPE Getting
Started Guide, both available from links within the Install windows.
4.2.0 Install the Simulated FlexTest Controller
Launch the FlexTest Simulator self-extracting executable. Follow the online installation instructions.
4.3.0 Install MTS Series 793 Software
To install the MTS Series 793 software:
1. Launch the MTS TestSuite self-extracting executable to start the installation process.
The MTS Series 793 Simulation Software Setup window appears.
2. Click the Install MTS 793 software link.
3. Follow the steps in the install wizard and make the selections listed below:
• At the Select the option you would like to perform prompt, select the Install MTS Series 494 FlexTest
Hardware install option.
• At the Select Controller prompt, select the MTS FlexTest 40 Controller install option.
• Use all the default Destination Folder locations and configuration settings.
• Use the default Project Name (Project 1) and select the Set as default project check box.
• On the Select File Options screen, clear all the check boxes.
Important:
At the Restart Windows window, you must select Yes, I want to restart my computer now and
click Finish.
4. Exit the wizard and allow the computer to restart.
