Chapter 6: Maintenance
Overview
This chapter describes use of the Calibration Program and corrective
maintenance procedures for the Beacon 200 Rig Monitor. It includes a
troubleshooting guide for problems you may encounter with the Beacon
200 Rig Monitor. Procedures to replace components of the Rig Monitor are
at the end of this chapter.
Calibration Program
The Calibration Program is used to calibrate the Rig Monitor’s active
channel(s).
Calibration Program Flow
Figure 12 below illustrates the general flow of the Calibration Program. See
the next section, Preparing for Calibration, for instructions to enter the
Calibration Program. In general, the program screens provide instructions
to guide you through the program. At any point in the calibration program,
the ESCAPE key may be used to either return to the previous screen or
abort a process.
