Example 1:
A turbine meter is connected to a WI-I/O K with a pulse signal of 15 pulses per gallon. The
normal flow rate is 30 gallons/sec - that is, the normal pulse signal is 450Hz (15x30). The flow
signal is connected to PI2, and divider of 15 is selected such that the pulse count is scaled to
units of gallons. Both PI2 counters are transmitted to a module for interfacing to a HMI package.
The HMI will read both counter values and calculate a 32 bit totalized flow value.
