4.1 Connection and description of the power terminals
The control unit must be open in order to be able to wire the power terminals. Do not apply mains voltage to the
drive connection terminals U/T1, V/T2, and W/T3 as this will result in damage to equipment. The Bulletin
161 drives feature an electronic overload protection to monitor the drive current. In the case of multi-motor
operation, thermal contacts or PTC resistors must be used for each motor. In the case of motor lead lengths >
50 m motor reactors should be used.
