Controller Tags
When you add the drive to the I/O configuration (see
), RSLogix 5000 or Logix Designer automatically creates generic (non-
descriptive) controller tags. In this example program, the following controller
tags are used.

You can expand the Input and Output tags to reveal the input and output
configuration (see

). The Input tag for this example
requires eight16-bit words of data. The Output tag for this example program
requires six 16-bit words of data.
