Features of Scanner

The scanners use a low power visible laser diode. As with any bright
light source, such as the sun, you should avoid staring directly into
the beam. Momentary exposure to a CDRH Class II laser is not
known to be harmful.

Figure 2.3 shows the location of all scanner safety labels.
