Code Element Distance
The nearest and farthest elements of a pitched symbol must be within
the minimum and maximum reading distance of the scanner.
Centering the symbol within the scanner’s read range helps to
prevent pitched symbols from exceeding the read range limits. You
can still exceed the read range with a pitched symbol, as shown in
Figures 3.12 and 3.13.
