PanelView Plus 6 Terminal
Overview The standard local and remote terminal options for the PowerFlex 7000 Medium
Voltage Drive is the Rockwell Automation PanelView Plus 6 Terminal.
This terminal utilizes the Windows CE6 Operating System.
Chapter Objectives This chapter describes how to configure and use the PanelView Plus 6 Terminal
with the HMI Interface Board. In this chapter you will learn how to:
• Configure a replacement terminal
• Make use of offline storage devices
• Use a File Client designed for CE
If replacing an existing terminal with a new PanelView Plus, the user must
configure the terminal to work with the HMI Interface Board.

IMPORTANT If the PowerFlex 7000 Medium Voltage Drive already contains a PanelView Plus
terminal, the setup described in this section will have already been completed.
IMPORTANT The CE Operating System is designed for systems with limited resources. It does
not have the full capabilities of operating systems for the PC.
Not all the capability and applications contained within the HMI Interface
Board are available for the CE Operating System.
