Creating a new Site Edition web application
1. In FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration, on the Home page, click Publish
displays to Web.
2. On the Publish Displays to Web page, finish the first step, 1 Select an
application (shown in the illustration). For the application type, choose from the
following.
 Site Edition (Network Distributed) to select an application from the
FactoryTalk Network Directory that the FactoryTalk ViewPoint Server
computer is connected to. The Network Directory could be on the same
computer as the FactoryTalk ViewPoint server or on another computer.
 Site Edition (Network Station) to select an application from the
FactoryTalk Network Directory that the FactoryTalk ViewPoint Server
computer is connected to and that is hosted on the FactoryTalk ViewPoint
Server computer.
To open other
ViewPoint
Administration
pages, click
the navigation
bar.

To create an SE
web application,
complete these
three steps.
