Move the run/main jumper (currently on the 1

pins) to the 2

and 3

pins; this will place the machine
in maintenance mode at power up. See jumper location in Figure 9.

Reconnect power to the machine,

Folder will wake up in maintenance mode. Both displays will light up with “8” in each segment. T

en a diagnostic
message will display in display 2. T
hen the new software version will display in display 2, “dct 9.9.b”. T
hen the
machine will switch to maintenance mode, display will display ether “oFF” or “dSP” and display 2 will display the machine model i.e. (P-2020).

Set Serial Port operating mode. Note display 1, Figure 10, this display needs to display “nEt”. T
o toggle between
modes by pressing button 1, or button 2, until “nEt” is displayed.
