43. Affix the Camera Mount Template to the center
square depression on the vehicle’s appliqué using
masking tape. Use a transfer punch to transfer the
center of the holes to the appliqué and remove the
template. Note: The corners of the Template align
with the corners of the depression. (Figure 40)

44. Drill three 1/8in pilot holes in the appliqué where the
transfer marks were made.
45. Use a 3/4in drill bit, center hole saw, or sheet metal
cutter to cut the hole in the center of the Template.

46. Use a 5/16in drill bit to drill the remaining four holes
on the Template. (Figure 42)

47. Use a deburring tool to clean the holes.
48. Affix the Camera Harness Pass Through Template to
the inside of the liftgate using masking tape and use
a transfer punch to transfer the center of the hole to
the sheet metal and then remove the Template.

49. Drill a 1/8in pilot hole through the sheet metal
where the transfer mark was made. (Figure 43)
