General Information
The Trigger Guards are available in short and long ver-
sions. The Trigger Guards may be installed to impede
accidental activation of the Torch trigger switch.
The Trigger Guard Kits can be installed on any of the fol-
lowing Hand (PCH) Torches with the Ergonomic Handle:
• PCH-42ER, PCH-62 & PCH-102 SureLok Plasma
Torches
• PCH-40, PCH-60 & PCH-80 Plasma Torches
• PCH-100ER & PCH-28ER Plasma Torches
These instructions are supplied to ensure the proper in-
stallation of the Trigger Guard Kit. It is recommended to
thoroughly read the instructions first, before attempting
the installation of the kit.
Supplied Parts
The following parts are supplied with the Trigger Guard
Kit:
• Trigger Guard (Short or Long, as ordered) - 1 each
• 6-32 x 1/4" Socket Head Cap Screw - 1 each
• 6-32 x 5/8" Socket Head Cap Screw - 1 each
• Installation Instructions - 1 each
Installation Procedures
Instructions have been provided for both Trigger Guards.
Refer to the appropriate paragraph for the Trigger Guard
to be installed.
A. Short Trigger Guard Installation
Install the Short Trigger Guard as follows:
1. Remove the screw located at the bottom-front of the
Torch Handle. This screw can be discarded. Refer to
the illustration.
2. Place the Trigger Guard onto the Torch Handle.
3. Secure the Trigger Guard to the right side of the Torch
Handle using the supplied 6-32 x 5/8" long screw (see
NOTE).

NOTE
This screw holds the Handle Halves together and
must be installed first.
4. Secure the Trigger Guard to the left side of the Torch
Handle using the supplied 6-32 x 1/4" long screw.
WARNING
Do not hang the torch by the Guard.
