4.1. SUPERSWEEP OPERATION

Note:

To assemble the Supersweep, please refer to Section 3.3. on page 20.

The Supersweep requires more power to operate than the regular sweep. If it

does, you will need to set up the kick-down valve on the relief valve. To set:

• Increase pressure in the system by loosening the lock nut and turning in

the pressure adjustment bolt clockwise 1/8 turn at a time until enough

power is achieved (with safety in mind). See Figure 4.1.

Figure 4.1

Warning:

Before continuing, please reread the safety information relevant to this section at the

beginning of this manual. Failure to follow the safety instructions can result in serious injury,

death, or property damage.

DANGER

Rotating Flighting Hazard!
Keep away from rotating auger flighting.
Do not operate with guards removed or

modified. Keep in good working order.
Shut off and remove key or lock out power

source before inspecting, unplugging, or

servicing machine.

NOTICE

If the relief valve is turned up too high, the relief will not kick

out and could result in damage to equipment or injury to the

operator.
