Configuring storage policies
A storage policy is automatically created when you configure a device. A Storage Policy acts as a
channel through which data is transferred to the storage device. As the name indicates, a Storage
Policy allows you to establish a comprehensive set of storage parameters - such as data retention,
streams, deduplication, and so forth, for the data channeled through the storage policy.
1. From the CommCell Console, navigate to Client | File System | Backup Set. Right-click
the Subclient and click Properties
