Removing the I/O Panel

1.

Follow the procedures in

Before Working Inside Your Computer

.

2.

Remove the

front panel

.

3.

Remove the

optical drive

.

4.

Remove the

secondary hard drive

.

5.

Remove the

primary hard drive

.

6.

Disconnect the I/O panel cable from its connector on the system board.

7.

Remove the screws that secure the I/O panel to the chassis.

8.

Remove the I/O panel from the computer.

Replacing the I/O Panel

To replace the I/O panel, perform the above steps in reverse order.
