Removing the Power Supply
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the
optical drive
.
3.
Remove the
secondary hard drive
(if applicable).
4.
Remove the
primary hard drive
.
5.
Remove the
back thermal sensor
.
6.
Disconnect the power cables from the system board.
7.
Pull up the power supply release latch and slide the power supply toward the front of the computer.
8.
Remove the power supply from the computer.
Replacing the Power Supply
To replace the power supply, perform the above steps in reverse order.
