Removing the Keyboard

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Remove the battery (see

Removing the Battery

).


 

3.

Remove the three screws in the battery bay.

 

4.

Turn the computer over and open the display.

 

5.

Ease the keyboard surround up using your fingers or a plastic scribe. Lift the edges to separate the keyboard surround from the keyboard.
