Turn the computer over.
7.
Slide the battery lock to the open position.
8.
Slide the battery latch release to the open position. (You may need to hold the latch release in the open position while removing the battery.)
9.
Slide the battery out of the battery bay.
10.
Turn the computer top-side up, open the display, and press the power button to ground the system board.
