Installing a 2.5-inch Hard Drive Board
1 Holding the board by the edges, place the hard drive board into the sled
and connect to the system board .
2 Replace the eight screws to secure it in place .
3 Connect the four SATA cables between the hard drive board and the
system board.
Removing a 3.5-inch Hard Drive Board
1 Remove the hard drives. See "Removing a 3.5-inch Hard Drive" on page 72.
2 Remove the eight screws from the hard drive board .
3 Disconnect the hard drive board from the system board  and lift out of
the sled.
CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You
should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered
by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the
product.
