Installing a Heat Sink

1 Use a lint-free cloth, remove thermal grease from the heatsink.
2 Apply new thermal grease evenly to the center of the top new processor.

3 Place the new heatsink onto the system board .
4 Tighten the four captive screws on the heatsink .

CAUTION:

Using excess thermal grease can cause grease to contact the

processor shield, which can cause contamination of the processor socket.
