Removing the Camera Module

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

2.

Remove the battery (see

).


 

3.

Remove the module cover (see

).

Follow the instructions from

5.

Remove the optical drive (see

Remove the keyboard (see

7.

Remove the palm rest (see

8.

Remove the display assembly (see

).


 

9.

Remove the display bezel (see

).


 

10.

Remove the display panel (see

).


 

11.

Carefully lift the camera module off the display cover.

 

12.

Remove the tape that secures the camera cable to the camera module.

 

13.

Disconnect the camera cable from the camera module.
