Removing the System Board

Remove the battery (see

Remove the memory module(s) (see

Remove the keyboard (see

Remove the palm rest (see

10.

Remove the coin-cell battery (see

13.

Disconnect the status light board cable from the connector on the system board.

 

14.

Disconnect the display cable from the connector on the system board, and remove the display cable grounding screw.

 

15.

Disconnect the speaker cable, subwoofer cable, and AC adapter connector cable from their connectors on the system board.
