Removing the Memory
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
During installation or removal of ANY hardware, always ensure all data is backed up properly.
3.
Remove the
battery
and the
access panel
from the computer.
4.
Gently pry the memory retention clips away from the memory.
5.
Remove the memory.
6.
Repeat the previous steps for any additional memory needing servicing.
