Removing the Fan
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
2. During installation or removal of ANY hardware, always ensure all data is backed up properly.
3. Remove the battery, hinge cover, keyboard, optical drive, LCD assembly, and palm rest from the system.
4. Disconnect the fan cable.
5. Unroute the cables routed through the fan.
6. Remove the screw securing the fan to the system.
7. Lift the fan out of the system.
