INSTALLATION

LPEV fans require four screws to hold them firmly in place.

LPEV fans feature a speed presetting air flow selector switch which allows user to select desired amount of air and velocity.

BE SURE all electrical power is off before wiring.

For single-speed operation:
1.

Preset a desired speed.

2.

Remove the junction box cover.

3.

Connect wire in the junction box. The grounding wire should be
connected to any screw on the junction box.

4.

Replace the junction box cover.

For variable speed operation:
1.

Preset high speed.

2.

Use Marley Engineered Products solid state fan speed controller
(Model: SS-2) and install it per the instructions.

3.

Repeat procedures 2,3, and 4 above for single-speed operation.
NOTE: GROUND IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE AND LOCAL CODES.

It is normal for the motor to feel warm to the touch during operation. The motor is thermally protected and will automatically shut
off should it overheat for any reason. The fan will automatically turn on once the motor has cooled.

The motor bearings are permanently lubricated at the factory and do not require any lubrication.

CLEANING

Use a damp rag and mild detergent to clean the blade and guard. Always turn fan off before attempting to clean.
