Additional tasks

To

Do this

Adjust the handset volume

During phone conversation, set the HANDSET
VOLUME switch. You can select from three
level positions.

Adjust the speaker volume

Slide the SPEAKER VOLUME control.

Adjust the ringer volume

You can adjust the ringer level of line 1 and 2

respectively. Set the RINGER LEVEL LINE 1 or
LINE 2 switch to H (high) or L (low); to turn the
ringer off, set to OFF.

Put a call on hold

Press (

HOLD

). The LINE 1 or LINE 2 button

will flash slowly.
Press (

Mute your voice

Notes

• When another extension connected to LINE 1 or LINE 2 is in use, the LINE 1

or LINE 2 button flashes.

• When another call comes in on the other line, the corresponding line button

flashes, but the phone won't ring, (see page 17).

Tips

• You can switch to speakerphone during conversation by pressing

(SPEAKERPHONE

). Then you can replace the handset in the cradle.

To switch back to the handset, pick up the handset again.

• If you pick up another phone connected to the same phone line, the hold will

be automatically released and you will be able to resume conversation on

that phone.

• When you pick up the handset or press (

speakerphone

), the vacant line is

automatically connected. When neither line is in use, line 1 is connected.
