INFORMATION

This equipment generates and uses radio frequency
energy and if not installed and used properly, that is, in
strict accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions,

accordance with the specifications in Subpart J of Part

reasonable protection against such interference in a

installation. If this equipment does cause interference to
radio or television reception, which can be determined
by turning the equipment off and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:

Reorient the receiving antenna
Relocate the equipment with respect to the receiver
Move the equipment away from the receiver
Plug the equipment into a different outlet so that

equipment and receiver are on different branch
circuits.

Difference between CDP-391 and CDP-291

This instruction manuai covers CDP-391 and CDP-291.
Their performance and operation are identicai except that
the CDP-291 is not supplied with a remote commander
and that, therefore, the CDP-291 does not have those
functions activated only by the remote commander, which

are indicated by a H mark in this instruction manual.

However, if you have a remote commander for the Sony

stereo system, you can activate the functions on that
commander.
