The Home Page Icons

The Titlebar

Any time you leave the Home Page, WebTV displays the titlebar across the
bottom of your screen.

PAGE TITLE

Displays the title of the page currently displayed on your screen.

INDICATOR ARROWS

The indicator arrows are green when the currently displayed page is longer

than your screen. Green arrows indicate the direction or directions in which

more of the page can be viewed. Press the SCROLL button on the remote to
view more of the page.

WEBTV CONNECTION INDICATOR

The connection indicator is green whenever you are connected to the WebTV
Network. When the indicator is moving, it tells you that WebTV is searching
the Internet for something you have requested.

The indicator becomes a straight red line when:

You receive a telephone call (if you have Call Waiting).

You use the HANGUP option, see ADVANCED OPTIONS on page 26.

Your Internet Terminal automatically disconnects.

Note

To help keep your phone line free, your Internet Termiiinl automaticnlly diicoiniects

from WebTV Network if you do not use the remote for several minutes. This keeps

your phone line free so you don't have to wonder if you are disconnected from the

WebTV Network. To reconnect, simply press the button on the remote.

EXPLORE

EXPLORE is designed to make your exploration of the Internet easy and fun.
When )'ou enter the EXPLORE area, you'll find links to some of the most

exciting and useful pages on the Internet. WebTV continuously updates

EXPLORE.

To go to a page from the EXPLORE page:

Highlight any icon on the EXPLORE page and press on the remote. The
icons either lead to more .selections, or directly to a page.
