Programming the Remote
You must perform step 4 within 10
seconds of step 3, or you must start attain
from step 2.
The Internet Terminal's remote control is preset at the factory to operate Sony
brand TVs.
If you have a TV other than Sony brand that you want to control with the
Internet Terminal's remote, use the following procedures to program the
remote to control your TV.
Note
Your components must have infrared (IR) remote control receiving capability in
order to be used with the Internet Terminal's remote.
To program the Internet Terminal's remote.
1 Find the three-digit code number for your TV from the "Programmable
Codes" below. If more than one code number is listed, use the number
listed first to complete the following procedures.
2 Press the CODE SET button.
3 Enter the three-digit code number.
4 Press the ENTER button.
To Check if the Code Number Works;
Use the following procedure to make sure the code you've entered works.
Aim the Internet Terminal's remote at the TV and press the POWER button
that corresponds to that component.
If the component responds, try the CH-t- and CH- buttons. If the component
responds, you're done. If the code doesn't work:
□ Try programming the remote using the other codes listed for your
component.
□ If you cannot get your component to respond to the Internet Terminal's
remote - even after trying all the code numbers for your TV - call 1-888-
772-7669.
