Making calls

Pick up the handset from the
base unit.
Fully extend the antenna.
Press (TALK) and wait until
"PHONE ON" is shown on the
top left of the display and you
hear a dial tone.
If you hear beeps, move closer
to the base unit.
Dial the phone number.
(You can also dial the number
before pressing ( talk ))
When you’re done talking,
press (OFF) or replace the
handset on the base unit.
To Do this
Put a call on hold Press (HOLD).
Press the button again to resume the conversation.
Put a call on mute Press (MUTE).
Press the button again to resume the conversation.
Switch to tone dialing
temporarily Press (*TONE) after vou’re connected.
The line will remain in tone dialing until disconnected.
Clear a number or the
entire display Press ( CLEAR/DEU) for less than one second to clear the last
digit entered. Press and hold CCLEAR/DEL) for more than
one second to clear the entire display.
Adjust the volume Press the VOLUME +/- control until the desired level is
achieved.
Note : Backlight will last for 5 seconds after pressing any key.
