Receiving calls

When you hear the phone ring:
• Extend the antenna.
• Press (TALKh (or any key
except (OFF), ( mu T e ), or
Volume up or down).
When you’re done talking,
press (OFF) or replace the
handset on the base unit.
To Do this
Put a call on hold Press (HOLD).
Press the button again to resume the conversation.
Put a call on mute Press (MUTE).
Press the button again to resume the conversation.
Switch to another call*
(“call waiting” service) Press FLASH ( talk :).
Press the button again to get back to the first caller.
Changing the ringer type With the handset off, press (PGM) and then
Now press (T), CD/ CD/ or (T) for a ringer type,
or press Co)) to turn the ringer off. Press (OFF) to
finish.
Put the ringer on mute Press (MUTE) during incoming ringing. It disables
the ringer for the duration of that call only.
Activate backlighting
